Grant comment: "Output power listed is ERP. This device is authorized to operate in GMRS (Part 95E) radio service." Body-worn separation of at least 2.5 cm. The filed test report (tested model "TD-H8 GMRS", report date 2022-11-22) lists conducted output of 36.52 dBm (about 4.5 W) on the 462 MHz main channels. TIDRADIO's current listing is the 4th Gen TD-H8, which offers "Ham, GMRS, and Normal (Unlocked)" modes and doesn't print an FCC ID, so check that the label on your radio reads 2AWL3-TDH8GMRS. Maker's claims vs FCC filing

Maker says

"10W High Power" (4th Gen TD-H8 listing) source

FCC filing shows

GMRS grant: 4.864 W ERP (462 main), 4.875 W ERP (467 main); test report conducted 36.52 dBm (about 4.5 W) grant

Our read

The 10 W figure doesn't match the GMRS filing, which shows about 5 W. The grant predates the 4th Gen listing, and we couldn't find a newer GMRS filing.

"Not listed" means this model isn't on the NWS list of radios approved for the NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards logo. It doesn't mean the radio can't receive weather broadcasts. The maker pages we checked don't say whether alerts use SAME county codes. See the weather radio guide.
