Grant comments: "Output Power listed is ERP." Maximum duty factor 50 %. The antenna must be installed to give "a separation distance of at least 104.7 cm from all persons." The grant lists one 462.55–462.725 MHz span at two power levels. It has no separate interstitial row, but that span covers the 462 MHz interstitial frequencies too. Receive-only rows under 15B: 136–174 and 400–520 MHz. Source: https://fccid.io/2AGND50X1G, checked 2026-10-21.

Maker's claims vs FCC filing

Maker says

"50 Watt" source

FCC filing shows

42.56 W ERP (462 main, high); 42.95 W ERP (467 main, high) grant

Our read

Not directly comparable. The maker's 50 W is presumably transmitter output; the grant figures are ERP measured with the test antenna. The rule for mobiles on main channels (95.1767(a)(1)) is a 50 W output limit. A user review on BTECH's page reports measuring 38–40 W. That's an unverified user report, not our measurement.

Maker says

Channels 1–7 limited to 5 W source

FCC filing shows

Low-power rows: 4.6 W ERP (462), 4.52 W ERP (467) grant

Our read

Consistent with 95.1767(b): 5 W ERP maximum on the 462 MHz interstitial channels (GMRS 1–7 interstitials are FRS/GMRS 1–7 on 462.5625–462.7125 MHz).

Maker says

"Legacy model" / "Out of stock" source

FCC filing shows

n/a grant

"Not listed" means this model isn't on the NWS list of radios approved for the NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards logo. It doesn't mean the radio can't receive weather broadcasts. The maker pages we checked don't say whether alerts use SAME county codes. See the weather radio guide.
